I love discussing personal transformation – it is one of the reasons why I started Love You Live You. Yet there has never been a time in which personal transformation is so necessary on a collective level, as it is right now during the Black Lives Matter movement.

My guest this week is musician, advocate, and inspirer Bryson Murphy, AKA Beezy RMG. Bryson’s mission is to spread love. He is a deep believer in self-awareness as the key to inner transformation and he also creates music for change and for peace.

The conversation between Bryson and I is occurring at a pivotal moment in our country’s history. Amidst the civil unrest after the murder of George Floyd, there is fear and a deep hunger for societal and systematic change. Bryson shares wisdom to help people of all skin colors to look within and truly unite: we all must engage in self-reflection to start increasing our self-awareness. This is the key to spread more love.

In our conversation, Bryson and I agree that social change starts with the individual in their inner world. Bryson tells us exactly how to take accountability for our own social brainwashing, perceptual filters, and prejudices. He encourages us to get off the hamster wheel of conditioned thinking and to develop self-awareness. And, no matter what you’re thinking, change your mind with actions of love. Then, spread it on to the next generations.

This type of inner work will help you release your prejudices. And in turn, you too can spread love. Our society can change. You and I are where that change starts.

I am sincerely grateful for Bryson’s words at this particular time. Listen to and enjoy Bryson’s engaging insights in this week’s video podcast.
